Traditional Scrapbook

Binder Entry Tips / Eligibility Information

Binder is a specified scrapbook binder purchased from the Key Club International catalog or one purchased that is similar from a KCI designated supplier.
Binder size is not to exceed the KCI scrapbook cover size of 11 5/8" wide × 12 1/2" high. Thickness is not measured.

Cost Criteria Entry Tips / Eligibility Information

The cost sheet does not need to be typed, but it must be affixed to the inside front cover or ten points will be deducted.
The cost sheet must include the Key Club name, city, state and district. Our district is Pennsylvania.
The cost sheet totals will be verified and must be mathematically accurate. The total value may not exceed $150.00. To determine photo costs, add the cost of the film purchased to the developing cost. Divide by the number of photos processed to get a cost per photo. Multiply that cost by the number of photos used in the scrapbook.
The appropriate certification signatures must appear on the form.

General Content Entry Tips / Eligibility Information

Table of Contents must be included at the beginning of the scrapbook.
Table of Contents must list subdivided categories, and, it is strongly suggested that page numbers be listed.
The scrapbook must be subdivided into six categories; see section "A" in the current "Guidebook" (page 20).
Each category must be tabbed and each page must be numbered.
Add activity examples like newspaper clippings, examples, pictures, and souvenirs only from the current year: March 2007 convention to the 2008 convention.
Do not use audio, visual or computer equipment as a part of the entry.
Decorate the cover. Have a theme. Include a miscellaneous section. Show Key Club interaction with children and Kiwanis.

Non-Traditional Scrapbook

The entry should adequately portray the six categories according to section "B" in the current "Guidebook" (page 21).
Newspaper clippings, pictures, souvenirs, or other representations of activities may be added—but only those from the current year: March 2007 convention to the 2008 convention.
No audio, visual, or computer equipment as part of the entry.
The entry must be sturdy enough to be handled by the judges.
Be creative, clever, and unique. Have a theme and display activities / projects.
Show club members participating in projects. Show your Key Club interacting with children and Kiwanis.
