Congratulations! Your son or daughter has become part of Kiwanis International’s leadership development program - Key Club.
Today, Kiwanis International is empowering youth around the world to become competent, capable, compassionate leaders – by helping youth learn to help others. In short, Kiwanis is changing the world one child and one community at a time – by enabling leaders to serve their communities.
Since 1915, Kiwanis has been dedicated to the realization that community service produces community leaders. Today, Kiwanis provides a collection of service-leadership learning opportunities for youth of all ages known as Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs.
Kiwanis has positively impacted millions of people through its youth and young adult leadership programs. Senators, governors, university presidents, corporate executives, astronauts, athletes and coaches, and even a United States president, credit these programs as being the earliest, most influential leadership experience in their careers.
For each Key Club, one or more local Kiwanis clubs is directly involved in the program delivery at the local level. Check with the school to get information regarding the Kiwanis club that supports your child’s Key Club. Parents are always welcome as visitors at local Kiwanis club meetings.
