Grade: Junior
Club: Daniel Boone
Favorite Key Club Project: A new club member this year, Wesley Starnes, coordinated a book drive for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Our key club is hosting a competition among the English classes to see who can donate the most books. I enjoy this project because it has brought the entire student body together for a good cause.
Favorite Color: Lime Green :-)
Favorite Quote: "Cast your whole vote, not a strip of paper merely, but your whole influence."
~Henry David Thoreau
Your role Model: My mother is my role model because she is a strong, independent, intelligent, ambitious, nurturing, and creative woman. She inspires me, encourages me, and supports me in everything that I do. I appreciate her love and involvement in my life.
Something others find surprising about me: That I have a sense of humor.
Why you ran for district board: I ran for district board because I want to encourage the clubs in my division to collaborate in improving and helping the community. I also want to enhance my leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Favorite Key Club Experience: 2010 PA District Convention! It was my first time attending and I had a blast! I got to see how big our PA district really is, formed new friendships, learned about leadership, and discovered new ideas for service projects and fundraisers.
Your future plans: I plan on attending a four year college to major in Industrial Engineering and achieve higher education after I graduate.
