Pennsylvania Key Club

Lieutenant Governor Division 18 South

Kaitlyn McGinley

According to Kaitlyn, "There is nothing that can make your high school experience better than Key Club". This enthusiastic Key Clubber has been in the Kiwanis family longer than most! After falling in love with Builders Club, it was only natural for Kaitlyn to join Key Club, and she has definitely taken advantage of all the opportunities this organization has given her!

Although Kaitlyn is an active participant in her Students against Destructive Decisions (SADD) club, both school and club Volleyball, and Student Government at Emmaus high school, this rising junior finds time for the servant leadership of Key Club International. As a servant, Kaitlyn enjoys mentoring little kids at her local elementary school, as "there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the light bulb go off in their heads when they finally get what you have been teaching them". As a leader, through her admiration for past Lieutenant Governors Clint Speer and Barry Seng, this passionate young woman successfully contested to become the Lieutenant Governor for Division 18 South and hopes to increase club communication between all of the clubs she represents on the Pennsylvania Key Club District Board!

As Kaitlyn works hard to reach this goal, she also finds that one of the most satisfying components of Key Club is its character building, as "you need character in every aspect of your life." Hence, when not building her own character and those of her peers as well has inter-club communication, you will only find Kaitlyn playing volleyball, spending time with her three siblings, eating cotton candy, and listening to Taylor Swift.
