Key Club Cash
Key Club Cash, also know as KC Cash, is a scholarship program that is being
sponsored by the 2007-2008 District Board of Pennsylvania. The purpose is
to provide money to financially unable, yet exceptional Key Clubbers to go
to the District Convention. An application with a letter of recommendation
from a fellow Key Clubber, Key Club Advisor, or Kiwanis Member is required.
A few Key Clubbers will be chosen to receive either a free trip to District
Convention or a partial trip depending on the amount of money raised. The
applications will be reviewed by the District Board of Pennsylvania.
To raise money for this scholarship every Pennsylvania District Board member will carry around a plastic piggy bank to Key Club and K-Family events. Many of the Board Members are also saving their change and donating it to KC Cash. There will also be a "Dance with a Board Member" raffle at our next District Convention to raise money for next years scholarship fund.
The applications can be obtained by contacting your Lieutenant Governor, or emailing ltg1@pakeyclub.org. The application deadline has passed, however, so check this page later for the new deadline for the 2008-2009 year.
